Warts & Verruca is one of the conditions for which you can make a NHS Health Appointment. Verrucas, also known as plantar warts, are small, rough growths that appear on the soles of the feet. They are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) and are highly contagious. These growths can be uncomfortable, causing pain while walking or standing. Warts are common skin growths also caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). They usually appear as small, rough bumps on the skin’s surface although there are many different types  and forms.
