The information below includes directions, parking, access and what to expect when you arrive. Taking a quick look before
your visit will help everything run smoothly.

We are located directly opposite Victoria Gardens Bus Station, making us easy to reach by public transport.
If you’re arriving by car, parking immediately outside is limited, but there are public car parks just a few minutes’ walk away.

Arrival Time

  • Please aim to arrive at your scheduled time rather than very early or late, as space is limited.
  • When you arrive, check in at the pharmacy counter. You’ll be called through to the consultation room by the pharmacist or a team member.

Attending Your Appointment

  • Please attend on your own if possible. Space is limited both in the shop and the consultation room, and we want to ensure privacy and comfort for you and others.
  • Bring reading glasses if you need them to read forms or information.
  • Wear loose, comfortable clothing if your appointment includes blood pressure measurement or physical checks.
  • For weight and BMI checks, we may need access to bare feet, so it helps to avoid tights or shoes that are difficult to remove.

Facilities and Accessibility

  • Access is via the main pharmacy entrance. There are a few small internal steps with a handrail. Please let us know if you need assistance.
  • There is no public toilet on-site. Public toilets are available opposite in Victoria Gardens, and several nearby cafés have customer facilities.
  • Wheelchair access is limited due to the age and layout of the building. If access may be difficult, we can often arrange an online or phone appointment instead where clinically appropriate.

Respecting Our Space

We try to keep the pharmacy and consultation areas calm and welcoming for everyone. To help us do that, please:

  • Avoid bringing food or drink into the premises.
  • Keep mobile phones on silent or low volume and step outside to make or take calls.
  • Refrain from playing music or videos aloud, as this can distract staff and other visitors.
  • Do not film, photograph or make audio recordings during your visit.
  • Please do not watch live TV or live TV streaming services on your phone, tablet or laptop while on the premises, as we do not hold a television licence.

If you need to change your appointment, please use the link in your confirmation email, send us a chat message

This is usually quicker than calling.

You can also phone 01639 630000 and leave a voicemail if that’s easier.

Where possible, please give at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer your slot to someone on our waiting list.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may not be eligible for a refund for paid services, but we’ll always try to be fair.
