Zero Tolerance Verbal Abuse Policy

Our organisation is committed to providing a safe and respectful workplace for all employees and clients, protecting their mental, emotional and physical health. Verbal abuse of any kind will not be tolerated under any circumstances. This policy outlines our zero- tolerance approach to verbal abuse.

Definition of Verbal Abuse:

Verbal abuse can take many forms, including but not limited to, shouting, insults, derogatory comments, threats and any offensive language. Any behaviour that is intended to harm (mentally, emotionally or physically) intimidate, or insult another person through verbal means is considered verbal abuse.

Consequences of Verbal Abuse:

You will be asked to leave the premises immediately and wait outside for any prescription to be dispensed. We retain the right to withdraw all other services permanently. Additionally, legal action may be taken if the verbal abuse constitutes harassment or discrimination. If you refuse to leave our premises when requested the Police will be called.
